SYS Electromac is a ventilation fan OEM manufacturer in Hyderabad, India, building 6, 8 and 10 inch ventilation and exhaust fans for kitchens, bathrooms and light commercial use, for brands that sell under their own name. The range is produced on the same three conveyorized lines as our table, pedestal and wall fan ranges, inside a 100,000 sq. ft. plant at IDA Bollaram. Every fan that leaves this factory carries a customer’s brand, not ours.

Construction and motor options
All three sizes share a plastic body with a five-blade PP impeller and a removable oil tray, so the fan can be cleaned and re-oiled in service rather than replaced. The motor is a single-speed unit rated for continuous running on 230 V, 50 Hz.
The one specification most buyers want to set themselves is the winding. We build with copper or aluminium to the buyer’s instruction. Copper gives lower winding temperature and better efficiency for the same output and is what most premium-tier programmes ask for; aluminium lands at a lower landed cost and is the usual choice for entry price points and for high-volume institutional tenders. Whichever you specify is what is wound, and it is confirmed on the despatch documents.
Body colour, grille finish and cover shape are tooling-level decisions. We hold the tools for the standard range in-house and can cut new tools when a buyer wants a body that is visibly their own rather than a re-badge. That tool room is also what lets us run the full ODM route — design, prototype, tool, N-10 pilot, mass production — instead of only building to an existing drawing.
OEM and private-label supply
Ventilation fans are supplied under your own brand, with your logo on the fan, your colour on the body and your artwork on the carton. A typical programme works like this:
- You provide: brand marks and carton artwork, the winding and wattage you want, colour reference, and any market-specific requirements (plug type, cable length, language on the label).
- We provide: tooling where a new body is needed, pre-production samples, the N-10 pilot batch for your sign-off, then mass production and packing to your artwork.
- You receive: finished, packed, saleable stock — not components to assemble.
If you are taking an existing model rather than starting a new design, there is no tooling step and no development cycle: we go straight to the N-10 pilot batch, typically within seven days of techno-commercial agreement on the product.
Ventilation fans can also be added to an existing table, pedestal or wall fan order so that a single purchase order covers the whole seasonal requirement. Several of our customers buy the plastic range and the ventilation range on the same schedule for exactly that reason.

Commercial terms
- Minimum order: from 500 pieces per model.
- Standard lead time: three weeks from confirmed artwork and sample approval. New tooling adds to this and is quoted separately.
- Domestic supply: ex-works Hyderabad or delivered to your depot.
- Export supply: FOB or CIF. We ship regularly to Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Middle East and Africa, and can pack for container loading with export cartons and shrink-wrapped pallets.
Quality and standards
The ventilation range is built to IS 302-2-80, the Indian standard for ventilating fans and regulators, in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility. Every motor is tested online before dispatch — 100 per cent, not by sample. Fans carry a 24-month warranty.
Where a programme needs BIS certification in the buyer’s own name, we can support the application with drawings, test data and factory access for the inspection. More on how we run quality is on the why SYS Electromac page.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order quantity for ventilation fans?
500 pieces per model. A first order can mix the 6, 8 and 10 inch sizes to reach volume, provided each size meets the 500-piece minimum on its own.
Can I have the fans wound in copper instead of aluminium?
Yes. Both are standard options and the choice is yours, per order. Copper costs more and runs cooler; aluminium is the lower-cost build. We confirm which was used on the despatch documents.
How long does a ventilation fan order take?
Three weeks is the standard lead time once artwork is confirmed and the pre-production sample is approved. If new tooling is involved, add the tooling cycle, which we quote up front rather than discovering mid-programme.
Do you export ventilation fans?
Yes. We ship to Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Middle East and Africa on FOB or CIF terms, with export cartons and container-ready palletisation. Voltage, plug type and label language are set per destination.
Will my design stay mine?
Yes. Tooling cut for a customer’s exclusive design is used only for that customer. We have supplied V-Guard, Usha, GM Elektra, RR Kabel, Khaitan, Watts, Venus and Luker on that basis.
Can ventilation fans ship with a table, pedestal or wall fan order?
Yes, and most buyers do. One purchase order, one production schedule, one consignment. See the full product range for what can be combined.
